Red Floral Maxi Dress For Valentines Day

Happy Monday! Isn’t it always better when there is a holiday involved during the week? Not only is it my birthday (on the 15th), it’s valentines day tomorrow! Do you guys have any fun plans?! Chase and I rarely go out for Valentines Day but if we were going out this would be the perfect dress to wear since we live in Miami and it’s HOT! However, if I lived in a colder climate I would pair it with black opaque tights and booties.

I remember when I was dating someone in New York and we went to a fancy fancy restaurant for Valentines Day there were red roses and balloons everywhere, the fixed course meal was insanely expensive, and it was freezing! Perhaps it was then I realized I would prefer to stay home on V-day- sorry for being a party pooper!

Back to the dress, it’s not maternity and i’m wearing a size small. It’s the perfect flowy dress but still gives you a shape with the tie around the waist. You can wear it with nude heels like I did or if you want more of a beachy vibe opt for gladiator flats. I actually found this dress when I was styling a client and fell in love. It’s so different for me- I usually don’t do long dresses but the color + pattern made me love and want to wear it.

Caftan Dress with Tilden

Hi Guys!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am so excited to share this look with you from online boutique Tilden and to tell you more about this amazing company. I say amazing because I love their concept which is to not buy regular boring maternity clothes that you will just wear for nine months and put in your closet stored away until the next pregnancy or never wear again.

Tilden showcases looks that flatter throughout every stage of motherhood and offer an amazing selection of brands like Enza Costa, A.L.C, Rails, Rebecca Taylor, Vince, Joie, etc. Each of these pieces are chosen because of their shapes and silhouettes so that they work for pregnant women.  The store provides sizing recommendations and you can shop by trimester. What’s great about the selection is that you can wear the pieces after you have your baby.

Now more about my outfit- I’m wearing the caftan dress from Enza Costa. What drew me to this piece was the shape + the watercolor print. I don’t have anything in my closet that is even close to resembling this – so I was super excited when I received it! I paired it with my Valentino Rockstud sandals in peach- you know I love to always add a pop of color!

This outfit is perfect for day to night- if you don’t like wearing heels pair it with some gladiator sandals.

Stripe Tunic Look

Happy Friday!
So excited it’s Friday and almost the weekend. Can’t wait to relax and take it easy- the only plans we have are dinner with three other couples on Saturday night.. PS- all four of us girls are preggers, how funny is that?!

Now about the outfit! I loved this top because of the price (under $70) and the shape.  Now lets talk about the perfect shape- it’s doesn’t get better when you’re preggers to have a long tunic. If your tummy gets too big for the top just wear a tank underneath and leave the buttons open. I have a similar tunic top from Splendid that I wear all the time, this one from Leith is just a little dressier. The length is great because it hides the belly band on my jeans.

I paired it with white maternity jeans from AG to give it a crisp look + my booties and black Chanel. This is a great outfit to go to work in to drinks with friends.. The stripes on the top are super flattering and because I have a belly I think it actually elongated my body with the stripes going sideways on the top part and long ways on the bottom.

Sequin Bomber Jacket Look

Hope you all had a great weekend! We kept it super low key because I have had a cold all weekend:( There is nothing worse then being sick when you’re pregnant because you feel guilty when taking meds.. But I was feeling so sick on Saturday that I took Sudafed- which my dad said was ok to take and he’s an OBGYN.

Anyways back to the outfit! I’m wearing a sequin bomber jacket from Splendid that I am obsessed with and the best part is that it’s on sale.. A sequin jacket is such a good piece to add to your wardrobe if you’re looking for something fun to wear out. I styled this look with a silk top underneath, my maternity jeans, Ray Ban sunnies, and Iro booties.

If you want to wear the jacket for a more casual look then style it: with a cute tee and a pair of sneakers.

When searching for a sequin bomber jacket I think it’s unnecessary to spend lots of money on the piece because it is such a trendy item, it makes more sense to spend money on things that are forever pieces. If you do love sequins and want a bomber jacket I recommend buying one that doesn’t have tons of colors – because it’s flashy enough with the sequins.

Have a great week! Would also love to hear if there is a trend out there you need help styling!

Styling An Off The Shoulder Dress 2 Ways

I was so excited to pick out this Seraphine Maternity dress to wear!  Even though it has the side ruching, which I’m really not a fan of (just because it’s so maternity and can make you look 10x bigger) this dress is super cute and flattering! I have mentioned this so many times on my blog but off the shoulder silhouette is super flattering on all body types.

Last weekend I had a personal shopping client and, while she’s bigger on the bottom, her collarbone is so slender and small and I told her it needs to be shown!  No matter your weight,- it’s a nice part of your body to show off.

Back to styling this dress:

Dinner Party Ready: The first way I styled it was to go out to a dinner party with a pair of Schutz heels, a sparkly clutch, and my Ray Bans – which I can’t take off!  It’s such an elegant look and I love the way the strappy gladiator heels look paired with the dress.  Of course it’s always a good idea to add a sparkly clutch.
Dress: Seraphine Maternity / Shoes: Schutz / Bag (similar): Milly / Sunglasses: Ray Ban

Stroll during the day: The second way I styled it was with a pair of Tretorn sneakers, my Chanel Boy Bag, a bandana choker from Baublebar, and my Prada sunnies.  If you want to look more dressed up than usual, and are over wearing pants, then this is the perfect look for you!
Dress: Seraphine Maternity / Shoes: Tretorn / Bag: Chanel / Sunglasses: Prada / Choker: Baublebar

I love how versatile this dress is – as you can see, it can be styled so many different ways.  What’s your favorite way that I styled it? Do you prefer the more dressed-up look or the chill look?

Have a fab week!

Styling a White Button Down

Hope you all had a fab weekend!  My parents babysat Jake Friday & Saturday night so we were able to go to the movies on Friday night at Ipic, if you haven’t been, then I highly recommend it!  We saw La La Land which we loved.  You sit on a seat that completely pulls out so you can lay down and really relax.. Saturday night we went to dinner with another couple at our favorite place and where Chase and I got engaged, Houston’s!  I can’t believe that next Saturday we will be married five years.

Excited to share this look with you because I’m wearing the most comfy Frank & Eileen white button down top which is super soft!  If you aren’t familiar with the brand I highly suggest taking a look at it, they offer the softest button down tops  + a line of really soft tees and hoodies.  Their button downs fit really well and can be worn to work and on the weekends with a pair of denim shorts & gladiator sandals.

When styling a white button down, I always like to tuck in the front part into my jean or short, because it can tend to look boxy.. If you tuck it in, it at least shows your waist.  Since a button down is pretty plain Jane, I loved styling it with this Bauble Bar choker which gives the outfit the pop of red!  I am wearing my maternity Citizen Jeans which have the low waist band so that you can tuck in tops and of course my black booties!  When you live in Miami you only really need one pair of heel booties so apologies for always wearing them, they are the only ones I have!  Pairing my grey Chanel boy bag puts the entire outfit together with my cool Ray Ban sunnies:)
