FLoral Holiday dressing with saks

Hello October! It’s that time of year when we are being invited to galas, holiday parties and weddings! When I was looking for a dress, I knew I wanted something that was fun and bright and I think this dress is so perfect for any of those occasions! I love the ruffle details on this dress- so flattering and, of course, the beautful pattern. The colors are so vibrant- yet not overdone. This dress is the total package- it’s one of those pieces you can wear and feel super comfortable.

I love it paired with my light pink sunglasses for a day event – the color of the glasses really complement the dress!

I decided to pair this dress with my white Bottega Veneta heels which I think go perfectly! You could also wear them with gold sandals if you want something more fancy.

The gold clutch really goes well here too. I decided to keep the jewerly minimal because there is already so much going on!

Matching Seperates with Saks

Hi Guys!

I couldn’t be more excited to share this two-piece set with you because you know how much I love my sets and how often I incorporate them into my weekly wardrobe. I love matching sets because you can build so many different outfits with just two pieces. I was drawn to this one in particular because of the details. The shorts come with the most beautiful belt with a pearl detail, the floral silk pattern of the short is beautiful and the beads make it special and unique. I love that the shorts are a little fancier- so I can wear them out to dinner with heels or just wear the shorts to meet friends for lunch with a white tee tucked in and flats.

The top is so stunning- it’s like an art piece! The puff sleeves of course called to me – as well as the adorned buttons with crystals and pearls. I will also style this top with high-waist jeans or leather pants.

I decided to style the set with my white Bottega heels to make the outfit the main focus. This outfit is perfect for a party, girls nigh out, or dinner! I have been wearing this bag a bunch so much so that I had to switch it up for my feed and remeber that I have other bags! It’s one of my favorites and goes with seriously everything! This time I wanted to add the strap because I thought the detailing of the chain looked so pretty with the outfit. I also think it’s nice to not have to hold a clutch all the time! The pink sunglasses look like they were made for the outfit! Perfect match!

Party Evening Dressing with Saks!

I can’t believe it’s August and school starts for us in just two weeks! The summer totally flew by and now it’s time to get back into the swing of things and get ready for parties now that everyone is back in town! I am in LOVE with this dress for so many reasons! I’m always a fan of a dress you can wear during the day with a pair of flat sandals or boots or dress it up like I have with my gold heels. Another fun fact about this dress is the fact that I can go to a party, eat whatever I want and not feel like I have to suck in or wear spanx. It’s super comfy, light, airy, colorful and chic! If you’re pregnant it’s a perfect option! Another plus- it has pockets!

Styling this dress was super fun! I paired it with my gold Alaia sandals which are the most perfect height. I feel like I can walk around in these forever! Whenever I go to a party I make sure I’m wearing a comfortable pair of heels so that I can dance and enjoy the night! This is a great look for less option.

I had been eyeing this Loewe bag for a long time but was waiting on a color that I didn’t have in my closet and the gold popped up! This clutch is just perfect- it also comes with a chain if you like to wear it on your shoulder. This is a great look for less option.

I also love the pop of color of these pink sunglasses. They are perfect for a beach day to a day in the city!

Memorial weekend Ready with saks!

Dress: Derek Lam 10 Crosby (TTS wearing a size 2) / Shoes: Alexandre Birman (TTS) / Clutch: Mansur Gavriel

Hi!

I’m so excited to share this post with you all – as you know, I love dresses because they are total no brainers. You don’t have to figure out what tops to wear with bottoms or bottoms to wear with tops. I find that when you have good dresses in your closet, like this one, it’s easier to get dressed + you look put together in two seconds!

A trend I would love to discuss is cut-outs! They are a huge trend right now and have been for a while. What drew me to this dress was that the lines made it so flattering and I love where the cutout’s positioned. You are still able to wear a bra with no problem! Saks has such cute dress options that are perfect for the summer! The hotter it gets the more you will want to throw on airy dresses and go! #SaksPartner #SaksStyle

One Black Dress Styled 3 Ways!

There are so many ways to style a black dress and that’s what drew me to this Veronica Beard dress. Since my style is more casual these days I figured I could wear it with sandals/ sneakers during the day and at night time throw on a pair of heels and clutch. I ended up wearing this dress all day yesterday with my silver Birkenstocks and denim Chanel bag and was so comfortable. Also- Chase approved- loved the dress! Or maybe it’s just because when he got home I was still wearing it and i’m usually in pajamas.

I personally love all three looks- but my favorite has to be the sneakers, leather jacket, and red Chanel bag! Maybe it’s because I can’t wait to wear a leather jacket! What’s your favorite look?

“Buy More, Save More” with Shopbop!

Happy Thanksgiving week! I have been so in love with this leopard midi skirt from Anine Bing. When I saw that it would be included in the “buy more, save more” Shopbop sale, I knew I had to share it with you all. To demonstrate how versatile the skirt is, I’m styling it three different ways for you!

The first way I styled this skirt was for a holiday party. I’m sure you have parties coming up and what better way than to wear the skirt with a sparkly top! Of course I love this sparkly top because of its puff sleeves. Style tip: because the top is boxy tuck a little bit of the top into your skirt so that you can show off your figure. I added a pair of gold heels, or you can wear it with these and a clutch, or with this one, and it’s the perfect holiday party look.

The second way I styled this skirt is for “business attire”. I get asked all the time what are good outfits to wear to the office and this is such a good one! This cardigan is beautiful and I love the gold detail buttons. I paired it with high suede boots. Or you can wear these or these and my Chanel tote, or you can wear this one which is more reasonable or this tote.

The third way I styled this skirt is with a white bodysuit, denim jacket, a pair of golden goose sneakers, and my red Chanel bag or you could wear this bag. This is such a great look tho wear on the weekends or if you work in more of a creative field, or on Fridays if your dress code at the office is more casual.

I love the way you can really take this skirt from day to night!

We Dress America – Talking Summer Fashion with Walmart!

I am so excited to be writing this post and sharing more pictures with you all! I chose one of my favorite places in Miami – the Miami Design District because of its vibrant colors everywhere.

I picked an outfit from Walmart’s new summer fashion collection that totally fits with my style. Did you know that Walmart has partnerships with many different celebrities? When I was browsing through the website there were so many pieces that I could see myself in. I wanted to share a look that totally represents summer – all white. I chose a white denim jacket, a white dress, and woven accessories – a hat & bag as well as a layered necklace.

The white denim jacket from the EV1 collection partnership with Ellen DeGeneres is adorable and I’m totally obsessed with the LOVE on the back! It’s a great throw on + has a stretch material which makes it comfortable! I decided to style it over this white ruched dress. The tote makes the outfit so much fun! You can forget the notion that straw totes are only for the beach. They are really great for everyday- and this one from Walmart is perfect. To complete my look I added a layered necklace.

With the heat in Miami so intense this time of a year, a hat is always a good idea – even if you leave it in your car and always have it handy. Walmart offers free delivery and returns for items over $35. 90% of Americans live within 10 miles of a Walmart store.

Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post.

Dior Cafe Review in Miami Design District

Happy Hump day!
I am in no way a food critic or a restaurant critic, but I travel often enough and go to many restaurants to know when a place is good vs. bad.

So last week Chase was on a business trip and I was sleep training Chloe. We woke up Saturday morning and my in laws picked up Jake to have a special day with him. I absolutely love going to the Design District and was dying to go to the Dior Cafe. So I asked Chase if we could go, I put on a cute dress because I was going to ask Chase to take some pictures, and how can he say no if I look cute?

We get there and everyone is there for the exact same reason – to take pictures. However, I am the only one with a toddler. Not only were the staff super rude – they never even tried to get Chloe to smile! The customers were just as rude. Chloe would go up to them and smile and they wouldn’t give her a smile back.

I totally understand it’s not anyone’s job to get Chloe to smile, but when you are spending $12 on a coffee don’t you think the staff should help at least?! I will say, however, that the coffee was amazing and I know my coffee. I would go back – but I would leave kiddies at home. I felt like we were in Europe:) So if you live in Miami and you want to feel like you have gotten away, check it out. It’s a very cute rooftop on the third floor of Dior. Just don’t forget to leave the toddlers at home, even though it looks like a perfect place for them with the fake animals, etc.!

Hello Almost Mid August

Hi Guys!
Sorry I have been so MIA! I wanted to take my laptop to Colorado, but we just had so much stuff that I knew I couldn’t handle taking one more thing. It was actually a nice break though, but I def missed blogging! I will be doing a blog post on Colorado next week so stay tuned.

I can’t even begin to wrap my head around the fact that school is almost starting.. Where did the summer go? I personally love the start of a new year. Chloe will be starting school in November so she still has some time. Do you like the start of a new year as much as me? I just feel like it’s a great way to re-organize and priorities things that are important.

So I just had a couple of friends over and they were shocked that Chloe was still drinking out of a regular Como Tomo baby bottle! Yikes- I’m thinking it’s time I take it away from her- for some reason I was thinking at two years, but clearly I have no idea! Just adding this to the list of things to work on. I finally have her sleeping schedule back to normal. In colorado she was sleeping with us in our bed and we had to put a kabosh on it! Now I let her cry in her crib and while she cries i’m basically hiding in my bathroom looking at my Nest camera.. AHHH motherhood!

Anyways I wanted to share this outfit because it’s probably the most worn outfit of summer. This top is so comfy and cute. It was a little pricey but again since I have worn it to so much it has been totally worth it. Since it’s baggy I like to tuck it in to high wasted shorts or jeans.

White Leather Mini Options

I actually ended up buying this skirt when it was 25% off AND it’s a purchase that I would make over and over again because I have worn it so many times. You can style a white leather mini skirt so many different ways. You can wear it with heels like I did pictured here or with a pair of sneakers, depending on where you are going! I plan on bringing this skirt to Colorado with us and wearing it with sneakers and a denim jacket. Unfortunately my skirt is pretty much sold out but I wanted to share leather white minis i’m loving in all different price ranges!
