Red Floral Maxi Dress For Valentines Day

Happy Monday! Isn’t it always better when there is a holiday involved during the week? Not only is it my birthday (on the 15th), it’s valentines day tomorrow! Do you guys have any fun plans?! Chase and I rarely go out for Valentines Day but if we were going out this would be the perfect dress to wear since we live in Miami and it’s HOT! However, if I lived in a colder climate I would pair it with black opaque tights and booties.

I remember when I was dating someone in New York and we went to a fancy fancy restaurant for Valentines Day there were red roses and balloons everywhere, the fixed course meal was insanely expensive, and it was freezing! Perhaps it was then I realized I would prefer to stay home on V-day- sorry for being a party pooper!

Back to the dress, it’s not maternity and i’m wearing a size small. It’s the perfect flowy dress but still gives you a shape with the tie around the waist. You can wear it with nude heels like I did or if you want more of a beachy vibe opt for gladiator flats. I actually found this dress when I was styling a client and fell in love. It’s so different for me- I usually don’t do long dresses but the color + pattern made me love and want to wear it.

Styling Two Looks with Ivory Clasp

Top: Nordstrom / Jeans: AG Jeans / Shoes: Manolo Blahnik / Bag: Ivory Clasp / Sunglasses: Fendi

Dress: Splendid / Denim Jacket: Seven / Sneakers: Common Projects / Bag: Ivory Clasp / Sunglasses: Fendi

Hi Guys!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am so excited to share both of these looks with you because I am wearing the cutest bags in both looks from Ivory Clasp. If you aren’t familiar with Ivory Clasp, it’s a subscription service in which you pay $45 per month to receive a new bag – or $45 bimonthly to receive a new bag every other month. Each bag retails for over $100 and you get to keep the bag- the bags are name brands that you will recognize! Becoming a member of Ivory Clasp is super easy- you simply fill out a style quiz and a stylist hand-selects bags for you each month or every other month depending on which option you choose.

Ivory Clasp is giving you luxury for less because these bags are gorgeous, in season, and on trend. It’s perfect for a fashionista on a budget. If you receive your bag and you’re not in love with it, you can send it back at no additional charge and they will send you a totally different bag.

Anyways – back to my looks: The first outfit I styled is with this large fringe hobo bag. Fringe is super “in” at the moment and you will for sure turn heads with this bag! What I love about this bag is that it’s so chic and can be worn from the office to drinks with co workers. Its versatility makes the bag that much better because it can be worn on so many different occasions and the fact that it’s only $45 is amazing!

The second look I styled is with a black and white tote which I’m so in love with! It’s the best type of bag to wear all day long and throw everything in there. The fit of the bag is super comfortable and I could wear it all the time. Especially being a mom, it’s important that the bag fits exactly what I need for Jake. It’s extremely practical but most importantly looks super cute. I styled this with a black dress, denim jacket and my silver sneakers. This outfit is great for running around after your kiddo or even to the office if you work in a more casual environment. The two-tone of the bags makes it super unique.

Stripe Tunic Look

Happy Friday!
So excited it’s Friday and almost the weekend. Can’t wait to relax and take it easy- the only plans we have are dinner with three other couples on Saturday night.. PS- all four of us girls are preggers, how funny is that?!

Now about the outfit! I loved this top because of the price (under $70) and the shape.  Now lets talk about the perfect shape- it’s doesn’t get better when you’re preggers to have a long tunic. If your tummy gets too big for the top just wear a tank underneath and leave the buttons open. I have a similar tunic top from Splendid that I wear all the time, this one from Leith is just a little dressier. The length is great because it hides the belly band on my jeans.

I paired it with white maternity jeans from AG to give it a crisp look + my booties and black Chanel. This is a great outfit to go to work in to drinks with friends.. The stripes on the top are super flattering and because I have a belly I think it actually elongated my body with the stripes going sideways on the top part and long ways on the bottom.

Sequin Bomber Jacket Look

Hope you all had a great weekend! We kept it super low key because I have had a cold all weekend:( There is nothing worse then being sick when you’re pregnant because you feel guilty when taking meds.. But I was feeling so sick on Saturday that I took Sudafed- which my dad said was ok to take and he’s an OBGYN.

Anyways back to the outfit! I’m wearing a sequin bomber jacket from Splendid that I am obsessed with and the best part is that it’s on sale.. A sequin jacket is such a good piece to add to your wardrobe if you’re looking for something fun to wear out. I styled this look with a silk top underneath, my maternity jeans, Ray Ban sunnies, and Iro booties.

If you want to wear the jacket for a more casual look then style it: with a cute tee and a pair of sneakers.

When searching for a sequin bomber jacket I think it’s unnecessary to spend lots of money on the piece because it is such a trendy item, it makes more sense to spend money on things that are forever pieces. If you do love sequins and want a bomber jacket I recommend buying one that doesn’t have tons of colors – because it’s flashy enough with the sequins.

Tie Front Tee: Splendid

Have a great week! Would also love to hear if there is a trend out there you need help styling!

Styling a White Button Down

Hope you all had a fab weekend!  My parents babysat Jake Friday & Saturday night so we were able to go to the movies on Friday night at Ipic, if you haven’t been, then I highly recommend it!  We saw La La Land which we loved.  You sit on a seat that completely pulls out so you can lay down and really relax.. Saturday night we went to dinner with another couple at our favorite place and where Chase and I got engaged, Houston’s!  I can’t believe that next Saturday we will be married five years.

Excited to share this look with you because I’m wearing the most comfy Frank & Eileen white button down top which is super soft!  If you aren’t familiar with the brand I highly suggest taking a look at it, they offer the softest button down tops  + a line of really soft tees and hoodies.  Their button downs fit really well and can be worn to work and on the weekends with a pair of denim shorts & gladiator sandals.

When styling a white button down, I always like to tuck in the front part into my jean or short, because it can tend to look boxy.. If you tuck it in, it at least shows your waist.  Since a button down is pretty plain Jane, I loved styling it with this Bauble Bar choker which gives the outfit the pop of red!  I am wearing my maternity Citizen Jeans which have the low waist band so that you can tuck in tops and of course my black booties!  When you live in Miami you only really need one pair of heel booties so apologies for always wearing them, they are the only ones I have!  Pairing my grey Chanel boy bag puts the entire outfit together with my cool Ray Ban sunnies:)

Top: Frank & Eileen
Bottom: Citizen for Humanity (maternity) / Similar non maternity here
Choker: BaubleBar

Bag: Chanel or similar for less
Sunglasses: Ray Ban
Earrings: EF Collection

Have a great week!

2016 Quick Review!

Hi Guys! I can’t believe it’s December 30th – another year has gone by so fast.. Some of my favorite memories of 2016 are:
~Jake started walking at 13 months – such a game changer!
~Jake starting school- he has totally become a different person. He can play more by himself now and has become super outgoing and loves being around people! Totally sounds like Chase right?!
~ We transitioned Jake into a bed after he made it clear to us by throwing up in his crib he was over the crib at 18 months!
~ Trip to Italy with Chase was incredible – my favorite part was going to Borgo Santo Pietro in Tuscany – I highly recommend it..
~ Adding another dog member to our family even though it was a huge pain in the ass to train her (still in the process). She’s so loving and cuddly! I can’t imagine our family without her.
~ Shooting for my blog – it’s a lot of hard work pulling together outfits but totally worth it when the pictures come back and I receive feedback from you all.. I have absolutely loved each and every collaboration!
~ Being featured in Elle Magazine for their September issue.
~ Being pregnant again! We feel so blessed.

Hope everyone is safe and has a happy new year!
