I love wearing neutral colors because they look so chic and I always seem to be wearing them day to night! Although the denim, shoes, and bag are all different shades of grey they look so fabulous together! When styling greys they don’t need to be the exact shade, as it looks nice if they are a little off in color.

What I’m Wearing:
To stick with the neutral theme I paired this look with my all-time favorite white button down Equipment top which you have seen me wear repeatedly with black jeans, pencil skirts, etc.. The grey/lucite shoes are from Paris from the designer Gianvito Rossi which I also wore to the wedding this past weekend. They are surprisingly comfortable and are the perfect shoe for a date night with the hubby.. The jeans are from Iro and the bag is Chanel. I have linked similar options below with different price ranges. Have a fabulous weekend and my next post will be on Monday!

Happy Friday!

The Bag
One of my favorite purchases from Paris is this grey Chanel Boy Bag because it just goes with everything! I needed another everyday bag that would be easy to wear around Jake, and I decided on this Chanel Boy Bag. I decided on the grey because it goes with EVERYTHING… Especially since I live in Miami, I wanted a color that I could wear all year long- and this soft grey fit exactly what I was looking for. I was actually in between the Celine Nano and opted for the Chanel. I just thought the Chanel was a little dressier, and I can wear it to pilates with my workout clothes or to a cocktail party with a dress. You will be seeing me carry this bag in many looks to come, as I rarely leave it behind!

The Statement Bracelet
My favorite store in Lisbon is called 21 Concept Store in Principe Real. The owner was super cute and friendly and had the coolest fun and eclectic jewelry. This bracelet that I am wearing is from 21 Concept Store and the designer is Parisian called Shourouk. I was seriously obsessed with all of her jewelry! I wanted to buy the entire store out!

I have linked similar grey bags that I am loving with different price ranges..

Transition Piece/ Denim Jacket

In Europe the weather was definitely Fall which we don’t really experience in Miami, so it was such a nice change! It was all about laying on our trip. Long sleeved tops under light jackets are perfect to transition. My must-have layering piece is my denim jacket. It’s also nice to layer with something light because when you aren’t wearing the jacket you can tie it around your waist and it’s not so bulky.

As the weather starts to change, you need to have some key layering pieces. Instead of having to revamp and change your entire wardrobe, you can add some key pieces so that you are still able to wear some of your spring/summer clothing such as the silk shorts. These silk shorts are no longer available but I linked similar ones.

Pictured I am wearing my denim jacket, which is a key piece in my wardrobe that I wear when it starts to get chilly. It is very versatile and can be worn with so many different outfits. I bought mine years ago, but I have linked similar jackets below.

Boyfriend Jean + Pointy Heel

People have been asking where my boyfriend jeans are from so I thought I would share some of my favorites on the blog today! What I love most about boyfriend jeans is that they give you that cool look without having to try too hard. When wearing a baggy pant I always like to front-tuck my top so that the whole look isn’t too baggy. Having an outfit that’s too baggy can sometimes come across as a messy look, which we want to avoid. These jeans will also look super cute with booties!

Pairing them with pointy heels gives you that automatic chic look. These pointy heels are Manolo Blahnik which I have had for years – they are the perfect heel and match with almost everything. The height isn’t too high so it’s easy to walk in!

See below for similar pair:

On another note – we are off to Dallas tomorrow to drop off Jake. My parents will babysit him while Chase and I go to Europe! Check out the next blog post on Thursday to see where my husband and I are off to!

All About Fringe: Major Fall Trend

As I mentioned in a previous post fringe is very in at the moment. I have seen it everywhere from dresses, to skirts, to jackets, to tees, to sweaters, to bags and finally to accessories and shoes. Pictured I am wearing a tee from Scoop that I feel in love with. Since I live in t-shirts and jeans I thought this tee just looked so different and has the fringe in a subtle way. I can dress this up with heels as pictured or pair it with shorts and gladiator sandals. This is a piece that will be traveling so Europe with us, since it can be dressed up and worn with a leather jacket..

Fringe is on of my favorite fall fashion trends and can spice up your outfit, while it’s still easy to blend into any outfit. When wearing fringe just be sure to not wear too much fringe! Pick one focal point to show your fringe- for example, pictured above I chose my top with fringe.

The fringe look is very versatile and can be worn from the office to out with friends to a concert. It gives you that bohemian touch.

Accessory details from Friday’s post

I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to accessorize – especially if you are wearing something plain! Accessorizing provides a key spark to your outfit and can change a basic look into something more alive.. Currently I’m loving my arm party from Lola James, because it is so versatile.. You can wear it separately or all together.. Army party pairs with everything from boyfriend jeans and a t-shirt to a cocktail dress. It looks very elegant and chic and is super dainty. You can never have too many- just stack away. To shop for the pictured arm party head over to www.lolajamesjewlery.com and use promo code miamistyle15 to receive 15% off site-wide through September 30th.

The style names I’m wearing are: Luxe, Catch, Set in Stone, Loveable, and Fitz.

Speaking of Lola James, I also never take off my mini me necklaces that say “Jake” & “Chase.” I love that they are always with me even when we are apart. The diamond “Chase” necklace just adds that perfect extra amount of sparkle. Take advantage of the site-wide code and wear your special someone’s name right close to your heart.

This nude bag is from YSL and what I love most about it is that it goes with everything! Such a staple for everyones’ wardrobe. It of course doesn’t have to be YSL- but I do love patent leather as it gives it a fresh look.

See below pictures of some of my favorite nude clutches:

Happy accessorizing!
