This “Bombay Blue” look is from D.monaco designs which is a local boutique at the Jersey Shore. D. Monaco is owned and operated by a jewelry designer and stylist, so of course it’s filled with the most on-trend pieces at affordable prices.

What I love most about this two-piece look is how easy and breezy it is. It’s also super flattering and perfect for any occasion- especially for spring! I styled it with a pair of gladiator flats, a hat, and a clutch for a daytime look. However you can also pair this look with high heel sandals and it’s perfect for a night on the town.

If you are looking for on-trend pieces (at affordable price points!) then definitely check out D.Monaco. The shop’s products — including clothing, shoes, jewelry, makeup and more — can be found online at www.shopdmonaco.com.

If you have been following along on my Instagram and blog you will have noticed that I never wear long dresses, they just aren’t my thing- probably because I like to show off a little leg 99 percent of the time. But when I saw this gorgeous red, floral, lace-up, long bohemian dress, and it was under $90, I thought it was a keeper (I’m wearing an xs). Also- I like the fact that it has a slit and you could still see some leg:)

I paired this dress with my Gucci disco bag and Aquazzura red heels.  What’s so nice about this look is that it’s so easy and flowy and it can be worn to so many different occasions.  I buy every piece with the intention of wearing it to different occasions.  This piece is no different – it can be worn to dinner, to a party or during the day with a pair of flat, lace-up sandals.

What I love most about shirt dresses is the versatility as it can be worn on so many different occasions.  This look was inspired from our California trip – specifically from our visit to Palm Springs – because there is a pop of color everywhere in Palm Springs. From quaint little hotels with pops of colors in the decor in everything from the pillows to the carpets, Palm Springs is alive with color and has the cutest mid-century modern style homes everywhere.  The whole town feels like you just walked onto the set of Mad Men except in the dry, hot desert and not in Manhattan!

Adding a scarf to my outfit is so fun – especially to this denim dress – because of the retro flair that it gives it. It’s nice to either tie it on your bag or onto your neck. What I also love about a denim dress is that it can be dressed-up with a pair of heels and a clutch or dressed-down with sneakers.  As temperatures start to get warmer this denim dress is a Spring must-have in my book!

Have a great weekend!

With Valentine’s day right around the corner (next Sunday), I wanted to share something that I think is the ideal outfit to wear no matter what your plans are-  Jeans + heels + top because it’s so sexy and chic.  Instead of wearing the old, boring, so-cliched red dress that everyone else wear, stand out with an amazing sexy top, that can be worn for another occasion or just out to an ordinary dinner another time.

I picked out this particular top because I love the peplum silhouette, the exposed back zip as well as the scuba fabric- which sucks you in!  Also, who doesn’t love a little embellishment? It’s perfect for any date night and especially for a special Valentine’s dinner with your boyfriend, hubby, or your tinder date. It’s super flattering!  Just note that if you wear an embellished top to keep the jewelry minimal.

I wanted to start the month of February with something red of course because it’s the month of love and it’s also my birthday month! Also- I just love any pop of red with an outfit from shoes to bags. It gives that extra wow factor, with out looking like you’re trying too hard.

On another note- while I live in blue jeans another great alternative is pair of black skinny distressed pants.  If you don’t already have a pair of skinny distressed black denim I highly suggest getting a pair, the reason being that it automatically gives you a more chic look while looking more dressed up.

This look is so chic and I have worn it on multiple occasions because it’s such a versatile look. It can be worn from the office to drinks with friends. The leather jacket is a must have in your wardrobe since it can be worn with almost everything & the white tank is a great investment piece because you can also wear it tucked into a skirt.

Top: Equipment
Pants: Current/Elliott
Shoes: Aquazzura
Sunglasses: H&M
Bag (similar):  Opening Ceremony

What are your plans for Valentine’s day?  We are going to be in Palm Springs for a wedding without Jake..  Chase and I need some alone time so it will be really nice!

Everyone should own one pair of flared denim that fits well. This trends continues to come back and I have been wearing them ever since I can remember. Because this is something that always comes back it’s fine to invest in a nice pair.

Mid rise or high rise is the way to go when picking out a pair of flared denim. If you pick a high rise  be sure to wear a shorter top so that you can show that the jean is high rise.

What’s great about the flared cut  is that it makes you look even taller.. I like to pair mine with wedges or just a regular pump and it makes your legs look even longer.

When buying the perfect flared denim it should be fitted all the way to the knee and then slightly flared below that.

Top: Joie
Bottom:  Frame
Sunglasses:  Miu Miu
Bag (Similar):  Diane Von Frustenberg

Have a great week!
