Floral Maxi Dress- Different ways to Style It!

If you have been following me for a long time- you will see that I re-wear my clothing A LOT! Sometimes I feel as though maybe you can get sick of my outfits- but this is how I justify spending $ on each item.

For example, I have worn this floral dress the following ways:

1)Hermes Oran slides and a grey bag – (casual look)

2) Aquazzura brown lace up sandals and a blue bag – (bohemian look)

3) White lace up sandals + belt + white bag- Since I had a lot going on I kept the accessorizes more simple (edgy look)

4) Golden Goose sneakers, my turquoise heart necklace, turquoise earrings, and my blue bag. (laid back look)

5) In my instagram post i’m wearing the dress with my white heels + white handle Dior bag (simple edgy look)

I love a dress that you can style different ways- makes the dress seem different each and every time! See below for dress options that are similar and #lookforless

Easy Throw on That Makes Your Look Sophisticated!

I have come to the realization that even though it’s really hot in Miami when we go out at night I tend to get VERY cold- so I am now bringing along denim jackets or blazers if i’m wearing a short dress or skirt.

I saw this super cute striped one and fell in love! There are so many different ways to style this jacket- I decided to wear it with my denim mini skirt for Saturday date night, but I would also wear a blazer so many other ways. I would also wear this exact outfit and throw on a pair of sneakers for a more casual look.

I wanted to share with you all my top 10 blazers that are super easy to just throw on- it completely transforms your outfit.

High Waist Leopard Print Suit + Baby Girl Swimsuits

I don’t have many rules for my kids – but I am strict about one thing when it comes to them being in the sun: They must wear long sleeve tops when they are at the pool/beach. It’s the best way to protect them from the sun.

My kids are so used to it by now that Jake feels uncomfortable swimming without a long sleeve top. Since day one it has always been a rule- he doesn’t know anything different. So if I can give you any advice it’s to start them young in long sleeve tops to swim.

I am starting to think I should invest in a long sleeve suit for myself! In the meantime check out similar swimsuits that I was wearing as well as long sleeve for toddler girls.

Simple Perfect Summer Outfit!

We are off to a birthday party after camp today and I was about to wear my Love Shack Fancy mini dress but the problem is that we are going to a birthday party that’s outside and the sleeves are long! SO instead wearing my black mini skirt from Agolde as well as the cutest easiest tank that is not tight so air can get through! YES- it’s this hot in Miami that you have to think about this! Dressed it up a bit with my leopard belt🙂

Styling a Denim Mini Skirt

What sparked me to write this post is that tonight I was standing looking in my closet figuring out what to wear. It’s different tonight because we are going to see one of our friend’s DJ so I wanted to wear sneakers + it’s raining outside so it’s not worth ruining any shoes.

I’m going for a more casual look but still want that sexy element and sometimes it can be hard with sneakers. However, I think if you pair a denim mini skirt with sneakers it’s such a cute look! I am wearing it with an off the shoulder top that I got awhile ago – it’s currently on sale + I linked similar for less of course.

When styling a denim mini skirt – first of all, please make sure it’s high waist. I like it with any top tucked in and if you’re going out for a date night and want to wear a heel opt for a mule – nothing too strappy.

How to dress for a baby naming/ Baptism!

Hope you all had a great weekend and i’m sorry I was MIA last week with my blog. My nanny was out of town so as you can imagine there was very little time to sit down and write.

I was just asked to pick out dresses that would be good for a baptism in June so I wanted to share some of the dresses I found- and some of them are on sale. The person who I was doing this research for is such a sweet lady from Dallas and always asks me for my advice when purchasing- I love it! Please know that if you need help picking out outfits i’m here to help- just email me (jenny@miamistylemom.com).

She wanted something that wasn’t too short that she would pair with the white Alexandre Birman sandals that I recommended a while back. The Alexandre Birman 75 inch heel is my ultimate favorite because you can walk in them- so they are ideal for a daytime event as well. I also like this sandal for the look for less option. If you would prefer to wear a flat sandal – I love the Oran sandal from Hermes if you are splurging or the Sam Edelman option for less.

When it comes to bags go for something that is smaller like a nude/ light pink clutch or a bag with a little handle. I find that bags with handles are so much easier to wear because you can hang them on your wrist.

Here are my picks as i’m sure some of you also have summer events you need dresses for. You could even wear these to a dinner out!
