First of all I must say happy 9 months to Jake!
I am so excited to share that we are off to London, Paris, and Lisbon for 9 days!! (There aren’t enough exclamation points to describe the excitement I am feeling). I’m calling it our second honeymoon. We haven’t been away from Jake yet so it’s going to be hard, but at the same time Chase and I need our alone time. We are so fortunate that we are able to get away and have my parents babysit.
We are staying in London the first night and are seeing Florence + the Machine! Then the next day we wake up and head off to Paris in the Chunnel. My husband and I have never been to Paris so I can’t wait to see the most beautiful, fashion forward & romantic city in the world!
Our friends gave us a lock for the love locks bridge, so we will be making that stop. However, I am reading that the locks have been taken down – hope this isn’t true! We stay in Paris for four nights and then we are off to Lisbon, Portugal! We don’t know too much about Lisbon and are going to be relying a lot on the Concierge from our hotel for suggestions, so if you have any please send them my way. Then we fly back to London for one night and the next day we are headed back to Miami and back to Jake!
I will be getting a lot of inspiration and won’t be blogging while I am there. However, please check my Instagram daily for new posts:)
My next blog post will be up on October 5th re-capping my trip and our favorite places, etc, and of course all about SHOPPING!

Hi!
So excited to visit my sister, brother in law and niece in Madison!! They moved there exactly one year ago because my sister is a doctor practicing at the University of Wisconsin. We didn’t visit them last summer because I was preggers and stopped traveling after 24 weeks. This summer we are doing the world tour with our little man! They just bought a house and I can’t wait to see it! When we arrive tonight we will be going to a summer concert and one of the activities I am most looking forward to is strawberry picking.. Keep on checking Instagram for pics!
Some of my packing must haves are the following:
Scarf: Bringing this amazing Alexander McQueen scarf that I scored on sale at Saks! The color is amazing and will brighten up every outfit since I pretty much only wear grey, white, and black. I’ll be taking it with me to the Berkshires and to Europe:) I am also brining a grey Scoop cashmere scarf that I bought in the Hamptons..
Shoes: Espadrilles, Birkenstocks and of course walking shoes
Jacket: Leather Vince & Generation Love quilted
The change in weather will be a serious shock to our system – when you live in Miami it’s important to leave town if you can to get out of the heat!
4th of July is such a special time for me and Chase because it will be our 6th year anniversary of when we first met.. We met in the Hamptons exactly 6 years ago this weekend 🙂 This year is the most special because we will be celebrating with Jake. Happy 4th of July! Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend!
