We are headed off to Atlanta today – so excited to be taking Jake! When we left him in Miami while went to California I really felt sad, so super happy he is coming along. It’s actually the first time we are flying with Jake and he actually knows and understands what a plane is.. He is borderline obsessed with planes – I never actually realized how many there actually are flying around all the time!
Anyways- I have been to Atlanta a couple of times- but spent most of the days at the Apparel Mart working because I was living in New York and was working at a showroom. I am super excited to be able to explore this time around. Since we are going for a wedding, I have to pack daytime and night time outfits. My two main outfits – Friday night and Saturday night are the same outfits I wore in Palm Springs – but I’ll be changing up the accessories to make the outfits look different. I really am all about getting items and changing them up with accessories – you would be surprised as how different they can look.
Packing List (Since the weather says 60’s-80’s i’ll be packing the following):
denim jacket, moto jacket & leather jacket
I really do pack lightly- but the weather has me confused so the denim and moto jackets are light and the leather is on the heavier side.

Since i’m traveling with Jake i’m thinking the pair of jeans I wear on the plane will definitely get dirty- hence bringing a second pair.

Sneakers, lace-up flats, mid heel (wearing them to Friday night because I can’t wear a high heel and carry around Jake) and black pointy heels.

Spring wedding season is here and, if you’re anything like me, then you will be attending a bunch. Instead of buying multiple dresses I opt for buying one dress and styling it different ways through accessorizing. Yes – even if the attire is cocktail, black tie or beachy – you can still wear the same dress! I recently appeared on a segment on the CW network in South Florida and I shared some of my must-have accessories for men and women for weddings (Airing on 3.13.16!).
Last month when I attended my friend’s wedding in Palm Springs I wore a lace mini dress with a feather trim which I paired with flats. This weekend I am attending a friend’s wedding in Atlanta. Instead of purchasing a new dress I’m styling this look differently through accessories. Stay tuned!

If you’re on the go and are looking for a stylish and comfortable ballet slipper then Ja-Vie is perfect for you! Have you noticed that anyone and everyone is wearing tees?! Whether you’re at work, off to dinner or going to the movies, you are most likely wearing a tee. I personally live in tees these days and when I want to wear them and look dressy I style it the following 6 ways:
1. Paired with a mini skirt, silver flats, and tighter tee gives it that cool look.
2. Adding a blazer gives it that automatic and effortless dressed-up look.
3. Paired with a chunky necklace gives it an edgy, hip look.
4. Paired with a leather jacket gives it that cool downtown edgy look.
5. Anything paired with a pencil skirt gives it that fancier look- you can wear to the office with a pair of pointy heels or flats.
6. The printed silk short is a great alternative to a skirt- a fun short dresses up the look.
Boyfriend jeans (bf) give you that much needed break from the skinny jeans, and you can look super polished while wearing them. Even though they are baggy- you don’t have to look messy! For the longest time I coulnd’t find a pair of bf jeans that fit since my legs are so skinny, but I came across a pair of AG’s that fit perfect. The reason being they are a slim bf. So if you are smaller like me- then opt for a slimmer bf. I would say the bf is no longer a trend and it’s more of a staple now. If you are bigger on bottom my favorite pair is from Rag & Bone.
Here are some tips on how to wear them:
1) Wear a blazer + tee tucked in + a pointy color pump
2) For a more laid back look wear them with a pair of white sneakers and stripe tee
3) Wear them with your favorite stiletto + a button down
4) With a crop top and sparkly loafers for a cool chic look
