Sometimes you’re just not in the mood to wear jeans – especially when flying. Since I’ll be spending most of today at airports and on airplanes to get to Madison, and Jake will be sitting on my lap for most of the day, sweatpants are key! When styling them make sure to half tuck your top in the front to give yourself a shape. When purchasing a pair of sweats keep in mind that for them not to look messy they should have the following:
1) Not too slouchy
2) Cuffed at the ankle (this goes for babies as well when it comes to sweats)!

When Splendid asked me to do an event at their Aventura store this coming weekend I was super excited – not only do I love the brand for myself but I also find they have the BEST baby clothes. Plus giving my friends a 20% discount is amazing! When I was pregnant I lived in their drawstring pants and tees- as the pants are the most acceptable “sweatpant” to wear! You can dress them up or down -whatever you are in the mood for. As a bonus, I can still wear them today 15 months later.
Yes, some of the baby clothing can be pricey – but you only need to buy a couple of things and you can mix and match – also they seriously last a long time. Jake is still able to wear his 6/12 month old shorts! One trick to keeping splendid clothing in perfect condition is to air-dry. It’s super important that you do this so that it keeps the color.

Although I still love gladiator sandals, what I don’t love about them is that it takes time to put them on – and having a toddler around means there is never time! Sometimes I need to just run out of the house and quickly put on a pair of shoes. What I love about my Chanel + Manolo slides are that they are stylish + comfortable + easy! From spring to summer you will live in these (I actually had to break in the Chanel slides, ouch).
I didn’t do tons and tons of shopping in NYC- but I did buy the Manolo Blahnik slides which I have been eyeing for a very long time! I found them at Bergdorf Goodman and what was great is that they shipped them right to my house + no sales tax:)

This is a Miami brand- and I have always liked it, however I thought the fit was a little off. So I went into Style Mafia and tried on some pieces and the fit was much better.
I was impressed with the fashion show and wanted to share some of my favorites. I loved that the color scheme was black & white- what was funny is that I was wearing black shorts and a white top.
