Crop Tees

Hi Guys!
Crop tees are the biggest thing right now! This is the outfit I wore yesterday to run around all day in and to go to an early dinner in the Design District.  It’s just a laid back look- but is super edgy and fun.  Crop tops look cute worn with high waisted denim- which ps I finally found a pair that i’m loving here. Of course I asked my trainer to do extra abs today, because ever so slightly you see a little skin:)

Also these tees aren’t pricey at all! The one i’m wearing is $30, so you can’t beat that. I also like it styled with a midi skirt and boots- so cute. Everyone is LA is wearing these tees dressed up and dressed down. See below some of my favs:

Matching Sweatsuits

Raise your hand if you remember wearing Juicy sweat suit outfits? I had it in every color – it was my go to thing to wear. Now a days you can find MUCH better matching outfits that are more tapered and slimming.. Every time I travel I end up wearing this grey one I got this past summer for Colorado and get so many compliments. I searched and found the updated version of it + some others I am eyeing. I find that when you are wearing a complete set it looks more put together, who agrees? The matching sets are also perfect to wear on lazy weekends. See below for some of my favs.

Statement Earrings

Hi Everyone!
Not sure if you all know but my parents are from South America – so it was a must for them that I get my ears pierced almost immediately after I was born. I got them pierced when I was one month old and unfortunately they were put in the wrong place! So, I was never able to wear studs or earrings that resembled studs because the holes were too far behind. The only earring I could wear without it looking funny had to have a hook. I decided about four years ago that I would get them re-pierced in the correct place. So now I can wear whatever I want! PHEWWWW!

On a day to day basis I wear diamond studs – but I have started to love to wear statement earrings because you can wear the most basic outfit: jeans, tee, and sneakers and add a statement earring and look all dressed up. Or you can wear a dress and wear the earrings and dress it up. I also noticed that I can pull off not wearing makeup when I wear statement earrings! Last week, I wore a pair of statement earrings to a wedding and so many people that I came across commented/noticed – it was great!

The earrings I am wearing are from from Noire Luire (stones are handpicked from India and Turkey) and you can find them @noireluire or on her website at www.noireluire.com. I also wanted to share others that I have my eye on here:

Black Lace Dresses

Hi Guys!
Sorry I have been so extremely MIA with the blog- we were on vacation and I did’t bring my laptop which I totally regretted! Although I was traveling with the kids and it’s usually difficult to work while i’m with them, there were times I wanted to write.

We went to my friends wedding this past weekend in Dallas and it’s actually the craziest story. I grew up with the bride, we went to elementary school and middle school and then we ended up going to different high schools. I went to high school with the groom! So they actually didn’t meet until much later in life! So going to the wedding was mind boggling because I saw people from high school I hadn’t seen in years and years and people from my childhood. What’s crazy about people you know your whole life is that it’s like time hasn’t gone by.. Anyways- the reason why everyone is here reading my blog. THE DRESS!

So I got this dress a couple of months ago from Jessie Boutique and thought it was a beautiful dress that I would get a lot of use from. You can’t go wrong with a black midi dress with lace. I’m all about lace- I think it’s so elegant and classy. I linked some other dresses I am eyeing here that have that similar feel ranging in all prices.

Match the Stack Diamond Band Giveaway!

Hi Everyone!

I am so excited about today’s giveaway with Sylvie Collection. We are giving one lucky reader a chance to win a gorgeous diamond stack-able band! I personally have had the privilege to know Sylvie and she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet with such a great sense of style. Sylvie Collection is a family-owned and operated business and has won over three national design awards. They have the most beautiful engagement rings and over 100 styles of bands to choose from in white, rose, or yellow gold or even platinum. They look great paired with any engagement ring. The collection is available in over 300 fine jewelry stores across the U.S. & Canada. They also offer over 2,000 unique engagement ring styles each with a matching band.

I personally like to style these bands on my index or middle finger, however of course they are so cute with your engagement ring stacked! You can never have too many bands or colors – the more the better to stack away. There were so many amazing styles to choose from and I opted for a gold band, so excited about it! I went to the cutest family owned jewelry boutique called JMR Jewelers in Cooper City, FL. where they had so many beautiful sylvie pieces and left wanting to upgrade my engagement ring of course!

The collection has been a favorite of celebrities all over the world such as Jennifer Lopez, Nina Dobrev, Kesha, Adriana Grande, Gwen Stefani, Kelsea Ballerina and many more.

Must Have Sweaters

Hi Guys!
You asked me for sweaters recommendations so here you go! Luckily for us who live in Miami we can finally start to actually wear them. I would say if you invest in three or four you can rotate them throughout Fall/Winter and style them so many different ways. Since I don’t get to wear sweaters in Miami often, I usually just purchase one that I splurge on! However, if you live in a colder climate opt for more of a variety of sweaters such as: cropped, turtle neck and off the shoulder. I wanted to share some that i’m eyeing ranging in all price points and styles. My favorite way to style a big chunky sweater is either with a leather legging or skinny jean. I am loving the cropped styles where you can tuck into jeans with a belt or tuck into a midi or mini skirt with a bootie.

We are off to Dallas this week for a wedding so I can’t wait to wear sweaters and leather jackets of course!
