I’m usually all about patterns. I love everything leopard, florals, polka dots, etc but sometimes it’s just really nice to have a simple outfit.
A while ago I went into Zimmermann and saw this beautiful white silk top that was on sale. I loved everything about it. I knew that I could wear it dressed up & down, with jeans and with a high waist skirt.
You can’t go wrong with any white blouse. For date night I wanted to do something a little more simple and paired the top with my favorite high waist jeans and clear heels. I received so many comments about these heels that I purchased a while ago. First of all they are the perfect heel height for me (I can’t wear very high heels anymore) and they really elongate your legs.
Hi Everyone! I just want to start out by thanking you all so much for your support- because of you I am able to do this! I had a moment this morning- but i’m feeling better that I spoke about it. Apologies if I offended any of you. Blogging is all about engagement at the end of the day.
Now onto why you are here! When I originally saw this dress I had seen it in a pink version.. I loved the style of it but wasn’t loving the light pink against my skin tone for some reason. I went into Zimmermann and fell in love with the yellow version dress. I was going to Panama to celebrate my grandmother’s 80th birthday so I knew I would wear it there + would be such an easy throw piece that I could style so many ways. Yes it’s pricey but I have worn it so many times that it has totally been worth it.
Shoes: I have styled it with my Golden Goose Sneakers, White Oran slides, yellow sandals and lucite slides.
Jackets: In Aspen I threw on my black leather Iro jacket and I loved this look! I would also style it with a denim jacket over my shoulders.
Bags: I have worn this dress with my denim Chanel bag, my Dior white bag, with my red Chanel bag and with my everyday large tote.
What’s your favorite way I have styled this dress?
Hi! Happy humpday- I feel like this week is dragging- does anyone else?! Maybe because we leave for vacation next week and I can’t wait! Anyways onto this ribbed black tank dress.
There are so many different ways to style this dress- I love to wear it with a tee because it’s so tight. I’m not the most comfy in tight things- so anything that I can wear on the top that’s on the looser side I always love. That’s why you see me 100% of the time wearing high waist jeans- it hides my tummy.
I decided to style it with this white tee which I have had forever. The reason I tied the top was because it looked too boxy for the dress and wasn’t flattering. I paired it with my midi sneakers and I was ready for today’s adventure with Jake! I would also wear the dress with a pair of heels and a clutch for a night out! You could throw on a leather or denim jacket.
If you have been following me for a long time- you will see that I re-wear my clothing A LOT! Sometimes I feel as though maybe you can get sick of my outfits- but this is how I justify spending $ on each item.
For example, I have worn this floral dress the following ways:
1)Hermes Oran slides and a grey bag – (casual look)
2) Aquazzura brown lace up sandals and a blue bag – (bohemian look)
3) White lace up sandals + belt + white bag- Since I had a lot going on I kept the accessorizes more simple (edgy look)
4) Golden Goose sneakers, my turquoise heart necklace, turquoise earrings, and my blue bag. (laid back look)
5) In my instagram post i’m wearing the dress with my white heels + white handle Dior bag (simple edgy look)
I love a dress that you can style different ways- makes the dress seem different each and every time! See below for dress options that are similar and #lookforless
When I learned about Too Cool Beachwear I immediately smiled- it’s such a great way to give back to the Venezuelan community. For every piece you buy at Too Cool they give one year of educational programs to kids in need. In order to achieve this, they work with a non-profit called Construyendo Futuros (www.construyendofuturos.org).
Not only are you giving back to the community by purchasing pieces- but the swimsuits are super cute and special! I love the patterns and details. I chose the long sleeve swimsuit for Chloe because I loved the ruffle on top and the colors. We all know how I feel about the long sleeve options and they offer lots of different long sleeve options. Check it out at: www.shoptoocool.com. Love their tagline: “helping others never goes out of style.”
Thanks to Too Cool Beachwear for sponsoring this post.
