When I asked you all in my stories recently what topics you wanted me to cover, a couple of you said “Zoomable” outfits! Since we are all living in comfy clothes- it makes sense to invest in these types of pieces. These sets will make you look put together and at the same time are still cozy enough to lay around the house & stylish enough to Zoom. I also included a jumpsuit and comfy midi dress. See below!
Happy Monday! One of my signature looks is dresses with sneakers. What I love most about wearing sneakers with dresses is that it’s mixing cute and edgy all in one look. From floral, to tight fitting, to shirt dresses, I have picked some of my favorite styles. I like wearing sneakers mostly when i’m around my kids because if I have to chase after them- I can!
Here’s an edit of under $300 options and over $300 options! These dresses are great for Spring/Summer! You can even transition most of them into the Fall with a leather/denim jacket. You can even throw on a pair of high heel sandals to dress it up for night time whenever we can go out again!
I recently received a message asking what I wanted for Mother’s Day (May 10th). I know – who can even think about it given these circumstances?! So I am here to help! I don’t need anything, but I wouldn’t be “upset” if I got something for our home. We recently purchased an air fryer and it’s been such a game changer. We have made veggies, fish, chicken and it’s all so crispy and yummy.
Being home 100% of the time makes me realize the importance of being surrounded by beautiful thing , so I have incorporated a lot of home accessories.
From frames, to vases, to trays, to beautiful games, I curated my favorite things. Also, you won’t feel so guilty getting a gift if everyone can use it! Of course, I had to include jewelry, shoes and accessories because a girl can dream!
I have divided the gift guide into two sections: under $500 & over $500.
There is nothing more classic than a white tee shirt and jeans, especially during quarantine. It makes me feel put-together when I put one on. During the day you can wear it with flat sandals, ballet flats, or sneakers. For night time, eventually, when life goes back to normal, add a pair of heels and a clutch! Or just pretend to go on a date night and dress up during this time!
Accessorizing a white tee is key! During the day I love wearing my chain necklace (this one is similar, the exact one I have is from My Story called the Melissa chain) and my blue heart from Lola James Jewelry for that pop of color. Adding a headband is a great option as well. If I want a little more sparkle I like to wear my chunky yellow gold tennis necklace from Princess Joias.
These tees are around $100, but I find it’s better to have a couple good white tees than to have a bunch of cheap ones. It’s all about the fabric + fit.
If you stain your perfect white tee – even if you spill red vino on your tee – no worries: just spray OxiClean on it and wash immediately adding one scoop of OxiClean in the washing machine. Chase was wearing a white tee Friday night while drinking red wine and Jake spilled it all over his shirt. I washed it immediately and it came out..
