Hope you had a great weekend!

Throwing on a romper is such an easy piece to put on and look put together without trying hard.. You don’t have to think about a matching top + bottom. In colder climates when wearing a romper just throw on a a leather jacket and booties and you are good to go!  What I love about this particular leather jacket is that it has gold in it, so it makes it more interesting then just a plain leather jacket.

This lace romper can go from daytime to night time- you can wear it to brunch with girls with a pair of flats all the way to dinner for a date night with the hubby.

Accessorizing is key especially with an off the shoulder silhouette! I’m wearing my everyday necklaces which are my Jake + triangle necklace: 1) Lola James Jewelry mini me that says “Jake,” I haven’t taken off every since Jake was born because it’s so light and delicate so you don’t even feel it.

2) Triangle necklace which I got from Astarr Jewelry Concierge:  I was searching for a triangle necklace and Astarr was able to source the perfect one for me…   I love wearing pieces that I don’t have to take off to shower because having to take them on and off is a job in itself and who has time to remember!

I am also wearing a Gina Cueto choker and I linked a similar one here..  Chokers are so in right now and they just make your outfit so much cooler and edgy.

Don’t forget to accessorize!

Fall Staple: Knit Jacket + My Top 6 Favorite!

Happy Friday! Whenever I see a jacket that I love I always wish I lived in a colder climate! Especially because I want to buy it and then i’m realistic and think I’ll never get to wear it- so I figure I could spend the money on something that i’ll wear more. However– a knit jacket is a good compromise because you can wear it from the start of Fall all the way through winter if you layer it and add a big coat.

I waited for this jacket to go on major sale and bought it at 60% off months ago- we’re going to NYC in a couple of weeks so i’ll really be getting use out of it- then to Dallas for Thanksgiving and to Dallas again in December for a wedding..

What I love most about a knit jacket is that you can style it so many different ways. From wearing it with denim shorts and booties, to ripped denim and sandals like I did you can’t go wrong when styling this piece. Since my exact jacket is only available in a couple of sizes I wanted to share some of my favorite knit jackets ranging in all prices..

Hi Guys!  Sorry I have been so MIA with my blog- I have been at home in Dallas spending time with my family enjoying the holidays- but i’m back at it!

What drew me to this dress was the gingham of course but also the amazing sleeves! These sleeves give the dress such a dramatic look. When you have a dress that makes such a statement try to keep the dress the focal point of your outfit.

If you’ve been following along you know that I love anything off- the shoulder because it’s just so flattering on all body types and shows the perfect amount of skin no matter your weight. I also loved that this is a shift dress so it lets you breathe, I am not such a fan of such tight clothing- so this was just the perfect fit.

A dress is so easy to wear it’s a no brainer- all you have to think about is shoes and accessories. I paired it with my favorite Iro booties to give it a fallish look (I also like these booties for less), a choker, and a Baublebar cuff that i’m obsessed with! If you want to make the dress look more dressy- then pair it with pointy heels or high heel sandals like these Aquazzura. For a more comfortable look pair it with flats like these. What’s even better is that this dress is up to 30% off with code MAINEVENT16 until tomorrow!

Dress: MLM Label
Booties: Iro
Accessories- Cuff & Ring & Choker
Bag: Chanel or I love this one for less Rebecca Minkoff
Sunglasses: Miu Miu

What I love about this gorgeous Swiss Rado True Open Heart watch is that it was so different than anything else I have seen. When I started learning about the characteristics I became that much more in love! When you’re searching for a forever watch it’s ok to splurge because watches are not things you buy too often. It’s important to make sure it’s a timeless piece because you don’t want to get sick of it. I’m also into bigger statement watches because it becomes the focal point of your outfit and you don’t have to think too much about additional accessories.

Styling this Rado watch is effortless. Because of its neutral color, the watch truly goes with everything and is perfect for every occasion – from your everyday athleisure to the more dressy outfit I’m wearing in the photos above. No matter your skin color the watch will definitely pop on your skin.

The watch also comes in a black matte color but I just loved the way the white high tech ceramic watch looked against my skin – and yes, I’m super pale, but it still looks pretty! Aside from its color, the following five attributes drew me to the watch:

1. The dial is made from mother of pearl and the cut-outs in the dial change depending on lighting conditions and angle of view.

2. The watch looks substantial and heavy, but it’s surprisingly super light as it’s made from ceramic. (Just a fun fact: ceramic is 25% lighter than steel by volume and is the lightest material used in luxury watchmaking.)

3. The watch adapts to your body temperature so it will never feel too cold or too sticky against your skin (there is nothing worse than a watch that sticks to your skin in hot, humid conditions).

4. It’s hypoallergenic – meaning it can be worn by anyone with allergies to metal or with sensitive skin.

5. The best part- the Rado watch doesn’t scratch so it looks new forever no matter how many times you wear it! So you can type on your computer all day long and accidentally hit your wrist on something and the watch won’t scratch.

This stripe blazer is such a great transition piece into Fall- because it’s light enough to be able to wear in the heat- but perfect for layering when it gets cold at night.. What I love about this nautical look is that you can style it so many ways. Wearing a blazer gives you that effortless elegant look. Here I styled it with dark ankle jeans, Gucci slides, the perfect layering tank, and my red Fendi bag. Add a pair of heels to this look and it’s perfect for date night!

Hope you all had a fab weekend! It was pretty low key for us- I had the Splendid event which was fun and other then that we went to an early dinner yesterday. I love doing in store events because one of my favorite things is styling.

Hope you all had a great weekend! It was a pretty chill weekend for us, Chase was out of town on a business trip so we spent a lot of time at home with our new puppy, Frankie! Yesterday we went to brunch with a friend and her daughter to Le Zoo in Bal Harbour – it’s such a good spot with kids and they give crayons and a coloring place-mat!

When styling anything leapord whether it’s a top, shoe, or bag- always following these rules: Keep everything else solid, ie, no pattern. The ONE leopard piece you are wearing should be the focal point of the outfit. You don’t want to over do the look!

One of the reasons I love this print so much is because it spices any look and for an edgier vibe pair your leopard print with leather!
