Ruffle Off the Shoulder

Hi Guys!
It’s good to be back, but i’m definitely missing the Colorado weather and people. I’m actually amazed at how nice people were there, even though I went to college in Colorado I totally forgot! The first place we went to was Denver and we met one of my besties from college at a hip Mexican restaurant and while I was breastfeeding the waitress offered me a pillow to rest my arm. I was shocked- so nice! I’m working on a round-up of my 10 items that I needed most on my trip- will post on Friday.

This ruffle top has been a staple all summer- I have worn it with shorts and sandals for a more casual look and for a more dressed up look with heels as pictured. What I love most about this top is that you can dress it up or down and the fabric is super light! I am also loving everything ruffled at the moment and the one shoulder is different and fun. I think I would even wear it with a pair of sneakers since sneakers are the new heel.

Stripes + Perfect Layering Jacket

Happy Sunday eve! I can’t believe it’s almost mid-August and Jake’s last day of camp was Friday. OMG now I have to figure out what to do with him all week! I’ll be taking him to visit Chase at work, we’ll go to the mall because none of his clothes fit, and to get a hair cut! Also have a couple of play dates:)

My parents are in Breckenridge, CO. so we are meeting them there this weekend! I am so excited to feel the cool air and see the mountains!  We can’t wait to see Jake’s reaction to mountains and snow. I asked my pediatrician if it was ok to travel with Chloe at such a high altitude and she said it was fine to just bring Motrin just in case and to keep her super-hydrated. We’re stopping in Denver + Boulder to acclimate them as much as possible.

I went to the University of Denver and haven’t been back to Colorado since my college bestie got married 6 years ago so I can’t wait. Only bad news is that I can’t enjoy an edible since I’m breastfeeding (ha)!

Onto the outfit – this has been an outfit that I have repeatedly worn, of course without the jacket – since it’s so hot in Miami! But I’ll be taking it with me on our trip. Come the fall, if we’re lucky enough to get some cool weather, it will be my go to jacket because the fabric is lighter than leather for Miami.  It’s been out of stock but I see it’s currently been restocked.  I love the way it fits. The shorts are so comfy and stretchy and the top is super cute! You know I can’t say no to stripes.

Statement Sleeves

Hi Guys!
This dress is definitely a statement piece. What I loved most about it is of course the stripes + the sleeves. The sleeves make this dress so unique! It can be dressed up or dressed down. Since my boobs are huge I needed to wear the dress with flats because it’s a little on the short side, so I chose these mid sneakers i’m obsessed with! I have also worn this dress with my Chanel espadrilles which gives it a cute summer vibe. If you wanted to wear it out to date night I would opt for a sandal or ballet flat. It’s a great day to night dress.

We are off to the Hamptons tomorrow! Wish us luck traveling with two kids for the first time! I just bought the scooter for our Bugaboo so hoping Jake will ride it! Will keep you posted- stay tuned.

Hamptons On My Mind!

Hi Guys!
Hope you have all had a great week! Chase was traveling for most of it so this weekend we’re going to keep it very low key. It’s exhausting having two kids especially when Chloe sleeps until 8 but I have to be up with Jake at 6 and most mornings earlier. He asks for milk at around 4:45 and then usually goes back to sleep.

There are all of these swim shows going on in Miami- but it’s honestly just so hard to go when the shows start so late. I am in bed by 8:30 pm most night and get into pj’s after I pick up Jake from camp at 4.. AHH I KNOW!

We are off to the Hamptons on Wednesday as our first family trip of four. I am so excited as I haven’t traveled since December! I especially can’t wait to feel cool & crisp weather. It’s been a long time since I have felt that. Jake is going to go crazy playing in the fields with his cousins. I am going to get the scooter part of my bugaboo stroller so that Jake can ride on it.. Do any of you have this? Would love to hear your input.

This matching linen short suit reminds me of the Hamptons! It’s an oldie but I love it so much, because you can wear them separately or together as shown. This exact one isn’t available anymore but Frame makes a more updated version. I absolutely love the stripes gives it such a nautical look. You can wear so many different options for shoes too, ballet flats or sandals. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Top 10 Rompers

Happy Friday!
So excited it’s the weekend! Chase has been out of town most the week so i’m super excited he gets back today. This weekend we plan on just hanging out with miss Chloe and enjoying one on one time with her. Tomorrow night we are going out to dinner with friends- so excited! My parents took Jake to Dallas & Madison until next week. While I really miss Jake- i’m super happy he’s enjoying time with his grandparents, aunt/uncle and cousins. It’s been raining here all week so I have no clue what I would have done with him here..

Onto Rompers- just like dresses rompers are so easy for the summer because you don’t have to think about matching a top with a bottom. If you’re in a rush and need to run out and still look stylish just throw on a romper and some cute sandals or sneakers!

Here I share my top 10:
